Teresa A. Wierbicki joined ImmaCare as the agency’s director of development in 2008. For nearly ten years prior, Mrs. Wierbicki was the senior producer for a television production company in New Jersey, covering a broad range of topics and guests. After the birth of her first son, Mrs. Wierbicki decided to make a career change and stay in the Hartford area. Her passion for “making a difference,” which was her favorite topic as a television producer, brought her to ImmaCare Inc. In addition to writing grants, donor relations/cultivation, event planning and other related fundraising activities, Mrs. Wierbicki has the opportunity to tell ImmaCare’s story in an effort to share the agency’s mission. As her role evolved, as did her title to Director of Strategic Development. She believes in the great services the agency offers those experiencing homelessness, and is fulfilled in knowing she helps to make a difference each and every day.
