Dear Friends,
ImmaCare’s Mobile Outreach Program has historically been underfunded. Now, due to a significant reduction in funding sources, the program is even more critically underfunded.
We have lost one of our longtime stable sources of funding in excess of $70K.
To offset the immediate financial gap, we’ve reallocated unrestricted funds from other programs. However, these measures are unsustainable long-term. We are actively seeking additional funding to bridge the shortfall left by the lost funding. As an agency, ImmaCare remains committed to street-level outreach, meeting individuals experiencing homelessness where they are, to facilitate their transition from living outdoors to more stable and safer housing situations.
Our fear is that if we can’t recoup the funding dollars, individuals living outdoors in places not meant for human habitation will not be provided life-saving services or basic human needs items.
Homelessness in our community is a severe public health crisis. Insufficient shelter beds and lack of affordable housing options force many to endure living outdoors in harsh outdoor conditions, exposing them to various risks.
We have set a goal to generate $54,000 in 55 days, which will sustain the program through June 30, 2025.
We ask that you consider making an impactful investment that will allow ImmaCare to continue offering Mobile Outreach services and basic needs items to those living outdoors.
Your donation will enable ImmaCare to sustain our Mobile Outreach Program. Specifically, your support will:
- Maintain Service Levels: Ensure continuous provision of critical services, including outreach, counseling, and resource navigation.
- Supply Basic Human Needs: Facilitate distribution of essential items like food, clothing, hygiene products, and medical supplies to those in need.
- Support Transition to Housing: Assist individuals in accessing housing resources and navigating the path to stable living conditions.
Your investment in ImmaCare’s Mobile Outreach Program will make a tangible difference in the lives of those facing homelessness in our community. Together, we can ensure vulnerable individuals receive the care and support needed to regain stability and dignity.
Will you please invest in ImmaCare and allow individuals living outdoors to not only receive basic needs items, but also continue to work on getting housed?
