DESCRIPTION:Fifth Annual\nTaste of the World\nAn International Food\, Wine & Beer Tasting to benefit ImmaCare Inc. \nThank you to everyone who supported the Fifth Annual Taste of the World! \nThe evening was a great success again this year! The dining room of St. Thomas Seminary in Bloomfield was transformed into a medley of delectable flavors and savors from around the globe. Community leaders\, volunteers and dignitaries alike were a buzz throughout the evening not only enjoying the food and drink\, but also the silent auction\, diverse music\, and good company. Members of ImmaCare’s Board of Directors and Staff took this opportunity to chat with and personally thank some of the generous individuals who help ImmaCare fulfill our mission to provide housing and decent shelter to those with no other options. Renee DiNino of iHeart Media served as our outstanding Special Guest Master of Ceremonies for the second consecutive year. In addition\, ImmaCare had the pleasure of honoring long-time supporter and former board member George Slate with The Partnership Award in recognition and appreciation of his many years of support of our mission. St. Thomas Seminary’s Chef Gordon raised the bar with this year’s menu\, presenting exquisite Brazilian\, Cajun\, Japanese\, Italian and German cuisine. Back East Brewing Company and Two Roads Brewing Company poured a variety of brews sure to satisfy everyone’s palette\, and Harvest Fine Wine provided delicious wines appreciated by enthusiasts and novices alike.
