It’s hard to believe that today we close out Week 25 of the Shelter Renovation Project. Lots of bustling both inside and out! The beauty of the former church building continues to be restored, yet in many ways, the old building is unrecognizable. Review each photo for captions about what you’re seeing.
- The new main entrance, waiting for the doors to be installed.
- Six rooms outside of our new case management offices have intricate detail. We can’t wait to see what they will look like once completed

- Entrance way to the new conference room.
- Looking up from the new conference room, which will have a slanted glass ceiling so the beauty of the building can be appreciated from inside.
- Painting continues on the lower part of the walls, and the shaft to the right awaits elevator delivery.
- All new electric in the basement, this is outside of the kitchen and dining area.
- Contractors are framing the duct work for the air conditioning, prepping it for sheet rock installation for a clean and finished look.
- This will be our new serving window for food groups.
- Plumbing in the new laundry room.
- Concrete pads for HVAC systems.
- This concrete pad is where the new dumpster will be.
