Housing And Recovery Build Our Roots

ImmaCare Inc. and Root Center for Advanced Recovery have partnered to provide housing and support opportunities to individuals in recovery. As a result, the new Housing and Recovery Build Our Roots (HARBOR) program offers Root Center clients experiencing homelessness a direct path to shelter.

Private rooms for up to six individual men are offered in ImmaCare’s Housing Navigation Center, a new low-barrier, service-enriched shelter with the focus on individuals working on ending their homelessness. Intensive onsite support services, such as the HARBOR program, are being provided in our newly renovated facilities.

As part of the HARBOR program, individuals receive three meals per day as well as free laundry services. There is no fee to the participants for room and board, and each is eligible to remain in the program providing they continue to work toward obtaining housing. 

HARBOR participants receive substance use counseling from the Root Center, while ImmaCare provides housing-focused case management and education and employment services. Clients are offered guidance from an onsite employment specialist who is equipped to supply clients with the necessary tools to begin their journey toward employment and financial stability.
