Homelessness & Housing Advocacy Day

Homelessness & Housing Advocacy Day is a favorite of many. It’s an opportunity for service providers – and those who benefit from our services – to share with our state legislators the achievements and advances we’ve accomplished thanks, in part, to the funding we receive. It’s an opportunity to share why it’s important to preserve our funding, and listen to some very personal stories illustrating just how important. Thanks to Partnership for Strong Communities, Journey Home, Hartford and the CT Coalition to End Homelessness for all of the planning the day’s events, and kudos to Rebekah Lyas, ImmaCare’s Director of Programs, for sharing a great message: that this funding impacts the lives of real people, and in turn, our community.
