Valley Simsbury Makes a Difference

This week was “Make a Difference” week over at Valley Simsbury, a branch of Valley Community Baptist Church. Several family members from Valley Simsbury attend Tootin’ Hills School who have previously donated sandwiches to our Mobile Outreach Program. With schools being closed, Tootin’ Hills School was unable to prepare and donate sandwiches as they regularly would. Because of this, Valley Simsbury chose ImmaCare as a recipient of their volunteer work on the first day of their “Make a Difference” week! Valley Simsbury members, Marlene and her two sons Adam and Luke, were so kind to drop off the 50 bagged lunches that volunteers prepared and packaged for Tony Mack to distribute during his daily mobile outreach. Janet Woof, married to Pastor Mark Woof, shared, “We were delighted to help and pray the lunches blessed some men and women in a special way”.  We are so incredibly grateful to Valley Simsbury for their thoughtful donations.
