Little Hands and Big Hearts
Recently, the entire Cobb School Montessori community took part in a sandwich-making event which benefited the clients of ImmaCare’s Shelter and Mobile Outreach Programs, as well as the residents of Casa de Francisco. The Parent Association and its Community Outreach Committee asked faculty, parents and children to make sandwiches, all made with love by precious little hands. Lucia Rome, PA Outreach Committee Co-Chair said, “The students were all so proud to hand in their sandwiches, knowing that they would be delivered to those needing it most. It was so heartwarming. If I may, a special thank you should go to Juhi Agrawal, one of our parents, to have brought this most meaningful opportunity to my attention and that of the school so that we can Make a Difference by providing more than 350 sandwiches to ImmaCare. We look forward to the opportunity to serve dinner service on November 10th.” Our heartfelt thanks to the students, families and faculty of Cobb School Montessori in Simsbury!
