Shelter Manager Roger Clark began his career at ImmaCare in 1989 as a Security Guard for the shelter. In 1999 he became a Residential Counselor and was responsible for addressing client concerns and conflicts, making referrals for services, and keeping the shelter space clean. Mr. Clark found that he enjoyed working with clients and seeing how they benefited from the services provided by ImmaCare. In 2003, he was promoted to Shelter Manager, a position that helped him become more versatile and gave him the opportunity to interact with many people from various backgrounds. As Shelter Manager, Mr. Clark also oversees the daily operations of the shelter, facilities maintenance and supervises shelter staff. For Roger Clark, the most rewarding part of his job is watching the progress clients make on their road to recovery and successfully obtaining housing.
