Holiday Festivities with ‘The Grinder Ladies’

Posted Friday December 23, 2016 by Teresa A. Wierbicki

To kick off the holiday festivities, the men served at the shelter had a festive visit from the fabulous Grinder Ladies! In addition to their delicious meal of meatball grinders made with love, they came with live music and carols, holiday gifts that included a backpack filled with candy, deck of cards, peanut butter crackers, granola bar, cookies, package of tissues and a mug with a hot chocolate mix and coffee and a tea bag and a fruit punch stick along with the $5.00 Dunkin Donuts card! They also set-up a table with t-shirts, socks and flip flops in various sizes for the residents to choose from The Shelter almost couldn’t hold all the joy and happiness this wonderful group brought with them! Thank you Grinder Ladies, and all those who supported your efforts, for sharing your blessings with those we serve.
